tutu too

Kaiya has been kind of sick for the past few days. It was my last debate tournament on Saturday (hazaa!), and the poor girl screamed for about five hours straight for Amy. After talking to Amy a couple times, hearing her crying in the background, and crying myself for not being able to be there, Brad left work early to take her to the doctor. Lo and behold... she has some fluid in her ear that's not infected yet, but most likely causing some discomfort, and a sore throat. We've been giving her Tylenol every 4 hours (even though it seems to only last about 31/2). And she's been doing better. Unfortunatly, she isn't eating very well, which means she's up a lot more during the night. Boo. I know it could be a lot worse, but it's still so sad to see her in pain.

On a happier note: Laurel made Isabel and Kaiya matching tutus! Kaiya was a good sport tonight and almost smiled for the camera. We'll have to take some dancin' pictures of the cute cousins ASAP.

Oh, my gosh. I am DYING!!!!! She looks so cute, and I love that she is sporting her cute hat, too. I can't wait for cousin pictures!!!

OH MY GOLLY I WANT TO EAT HER UP! Michelle she is beautiful. Ellie has a pink and green tutu so I will have to take her down to Laurel's and the 3 girls can have a tutu party. I need one now...hahaha NOT!

I have to imitate Alicia's first sentiments! She's so stinkin' cute. Sorry to hear she's sick. There is nothing worse than having a sick baby- I hope she gets feeling better and hope you guys can get some sleep!

That is so cute! I love how chunky she is getting! I need to go take Brooklyn in soon to get some pictures taken in her tutu that Jennifer Wimmer made for her, before she is to big for it.

holy crap, I want to seize and squeeze the fat little Kaiya! That is adorable and I am TOTALLY with your mom...we all need matching tutus and need a group shot!! I am in--you know me, I have no shame! Adorable...hopefully the little sweet one is feeling better!

Valentine's Day photos

Valentine's Day seemed as good an excuse as any to schedule long-overdue photos for the kiddos. (And I'm posting all of my favorites because I can.  Also so that my mom and Marsha can tell me which ones they want me to print for them.) Ben was an absolute turd during this photo shoot, which is why I'm amazed these pictures turned out as good as they did.  I will have to Photoshop that sucker out of his hand when I order prints for the wall, though.  Here's our little GQ junior model...  Seriously, how could anyone stay mad at that face?  And here's Miss Kaiya!  She is growing up WAY too fast for my liking. This one is my favorite! So... once Ben finally cheered up, Kaiya acted up, and our attempts at getting a decent sibling photo were kinda' thwarted... This one will have to do :)

Christmas 2012

Christmas Eve We attempted to teach the Walker grandkids the nativity story by having them act it out.  Ben was uncooperative and the costumes need some work (my fault), but the kids were pretty cute nonetheless.  Ben cheered up when he got to play with this super friendly golden retriever puppy that my in-laws were babysitting/hiding (he was to be a Christmas surprise for some friends).  What is it about this breed that is so stinkin' cute!?    Kaiya decorated some cookies for Santa by emptying two jars of sprinkles. Christmas Day   Since we video taped the whole procession, we neglected to take too many pictures Christmas morning.  But here are a couple shots of the magic.  Among other things, Santa gave Kaiya a puppy... as real a puppy as she'll ever get, anyway :)   Santa also brought Ben his own little car which he's been driving around the basement for three days (alongside Kaiya on her new birt...
