i totally had a pair of these in black back in the day! Hahaha! even tho they look goofy now...they were way cool then....and comfy! I'm just sayin'! (FYI: not a trend i intend to revist :) )

had that same pair of pants in black when I was in 6th grade. Came with a blouse with a beaded eagle on the front. Mom picked out my clothes.

"Hammer's" were always shiny parachute material....you know, the break-dancer's must have pants with the zippers on the side! (accompanied by the "wife beater" tank top) Hammer pants were great as well...I, also, sported those back in the eighties. (Wow...good times!) I thought the cotton ones went with more....we would wear the "boot strap" attachment across the bottom of our feet to keep our pants tucked into our boots. (killed your feet after awhile) I loved to wear the black cotton pants with my short red boots and a cool red blazer jacket. (with the "wife beater" tank top underneath) we totally made it work. :) I think I can even remember the "Hammer time" dance! Ha Ha! BRING BACK THE 80's!
