FREEEE

I tried to find a picture of that scene in What About Bob when Bill Murray uses Baby Steps to "untie" his "knots" and shouts "FREEEE!!" (that's me trying to type a voice inflection). I couldn't find it. But this picture equally expresses the elation I am feeling right now.

Today I finally paid off my student loans! I've been giving UHEAA (or as I like to call them, "The Man" or more appropriately, "those bastards") half of my paycheck for, well, way too long. I'd tell you, but then you could do the math and calculate the embarrassing amount that I owed.

I'm so excited! I still get my full paycheck until September (when I'm going part-time at work)... so in the meantime, what should I do with all this extra moolah?? New furniture? New TV? New Fence? Blow it all on hats?

p.s. Don't say "put it in savings". That's what Brad said and he almost lost a testicle.

Oh, happy day!!! And I think I just wet myself. Just to let you know. :)

As for that extra dinero? I say blow it all on hats. That way we can start a new fashion rage while allowing Brad to maintain his manhood.

Savings?! Who saves money? I think furniture and clothes are a great investment. Congrats! I wonder what that will feel like...

Props to you dude. Seriously. You managed to pay off those bastards and quote one the greatest movies of our generation. I'm very impressed. As for the dinero? Don't ask me.. I've been blowing mine on hats instead of paying off the man. Huh... I suck. You rock.

this is huge! good for you...why don't you go halfsies and buy some crap and tuck the rest away? don't get mad, it was originally Brad's idea.

Okay, before I even read Markelle's comment I was going to suggest that you pay tithing (duh), bank half (gotta do it), and then blow the rest on hats (serendipity doodah). One of my most fun gifts ever was when Dave gave me a bunch of money with the stipulation that it was MINE to spend. Choices, choices, the possiblities are endless.
