Mexico Cruise 2012
I love everything about this group of people. Our "game night friends" have been getting together once a week at the Bradfords' house for over six years and every once in a while we get to go on kick-a vacations too. A couple years ago we went on a Caribbean cruise (as seen here) and this year our destination was Mexico. We also got to add two more couples this go-round, which was awesome. We had an absolute blast. Here go the highlights.
Before we got on the boat, the season passport holders had to make a kids-free trip to Disneyland -- why not, right? We quickly discovered how awesome it is to run from ride to ride without strollers and height requirements.... we also discovered that we are getting old and very prone to motion sickness when we try to run from ride to ride without strollers and height requirements. It didn't help that we rode Space Mountain first and then seven more rides before lunch. And then we jumped right onto a rolling boat for the next seven days. I have come to appreciate the wonders of Dramamine.
We tried to recreate game night on the boat and just may have tried to use the Friends of Bill W's privacy sign to deter the "other" Mormon group that was trying to get in on the library action. It backfired a little :)
Monday was my 28th birthday!! Two appetizers, two entrees, three desserts, and a birthday song from the Balinese waiter? Yes, please.
The boys
The girls. No, you didn't miscount. We had an extra girl, Jen, who was there stag. Her husband has a new job and next to no vacation days so Jen came to supervise the hot, new, as yet unmarried couple, Tahsha and Kyle. The three of them shared a room; it was both awkward and awesome.
Volleyball on the boat. I watched for a minute and then took a nap. I am not nearly athletic nor competitive enough for this group.
--Here come the random shots from ports of call--
Cabo San Lucas
super legit glass bottom boat tour
See the bumpin' sound system and all the tropical fish?

Best. Coke. Ever.
Puerto Vallarta
Our plans fell through in PV, so we ended up taking a self-guided tour, shopping, and getting massages. Not too shabby.
more hanging out on the boat...
Thanks for another great vacation, amigos. We sure do love you guys!!
p.s. I have 192 pictures; I tried to cut it down :)

I bought the gold one at Dillard's a few years ago. My friend found her tan lace one at Dress Barn. We all tend to improvise with layers and shrugs a lot of the time.
You should check out shabbyapple.com. I have bought a couple dresses from there... Their stuff is super cute and nearly everything has a sleeve.
