back to reality
We've been back for almost a week, and this is the first chance I've had to get these pictures on here! (Yes, I'm at school, "working" really hard....so, don't expect anything fancy or witty.)

We tried to catch the sunset several times, and this is the closest we got. (Heaven forbid we try to catch the sunRISE.) We walked onto the deck just as the sun was half-way into the water. Luckily, I already had my camera out, but only had time for the one picture.
Now - as for the ports - we went to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta. This first one is (supposedly) the highest natural lighthouse in the world, in Mazatlan. Brad made me hike it. The second is the view from the top... totally worth it.

Here are some other shots from Mazatlan. I saw this cathedral from the ship and had to check it out. I don't know why I'm so drawn to cathedrals... maybe I should switch religions :)

If you don't look at the bird poop this is a really cool statue.

Here's some crazy guy who dives into rocky, shallow water for money. I know, it doesn't look like he's going to clear it... I got a little nervous.

Just us posin'. This is the day I ripped my pants.

Alicia and Blaine talked us into doing this shore excursion in Puerto Vallarta. You strap into a harness, hold onto a pulley, and zip through the jungle and over a ravine on a steel cable. Probably unsafe, but definitely cool.
This is me on the far platform, getting ready to risk my life.

Sorry this one's a bit blurry, but it gives you an idea of how it works. I think there were 16 different zip lines or something; the biggest was 800 meters long and 200 meters high. Crazy!
Last but not least, here are a couple shots from "formal night". My husband is freakin' hott.

And I just think this is funny. How out of place does this ginormous cruise ship look?

All-in-all, it was really hard to come back to real life this week. My only consolation is that there's only a month left of school... then the "Summer of Michelle" begins once more.

Anyway, your pictures are great. I can't wait to see the rest.
(And I LOVE the lactating mermaid.)
