Spring Break!

We thought we'd take advantage of our friend Travis's hospitality just one more time before he leaves Washington DC, so for spring break we hauled our 16 month old across the country. (Not a fun flight, by the way.) We went with Adam and Jessalyn, and it turned out to be a lot of fun - especially since Brad condescended to let me eat every two hours - pregnancy is fun :) We were supposed to be there during the cherry blossom peak, but I guess it came early this year. Oops, I did it again.

It's too bad that both of my sisters are pregnant right now; it looks like I have to start buying my own maternity clothes. Yep, Walker baby number two is on its way! We are really excited and looking forward to meeting Kaiya's new baby brother or sister on October 23rd .

Brad's mom had the grandkids over (plus Isabel) for a backyard easter egg hunt this week. It was kind of cold, but I don't think they noticed. Kaiya was done after finding like three eggs. She was too easily distracted by the trampoline... ...the "puppy" (I am in serious trouble here: Kaiya LOVES dogs!! Especially the big ones.)... ...and the lure of the swing. I have to show off my daughter's amazing acrobatic skill here. I turned around to see her across the yard, attempting to get on the swing all by herself. She succeeded and was pretty darn proud of herself.
